The Filmmaker

Nick Robinson is a young and inspired filmmaker hoping to make movies that people want to watch. Nick works beyond the distractions to reduce behind the scenes trouble and spending with little or no crews. He puts the focus on what's seen and heard, giving everything he can to that experience.When asked about his influences, he likes to cite "Everything I've seen and heard".

Nick likes to make movies that are different from the standard fare, to change things up and make them a little bit weird, to reflect his personality. He believes strongly that humor and wit are the most effective conveyers of strong messages because of how the movies that he watched affected him - humor was a large draw, commentary and learning (when not overdone or ham-handed) left the lasting impression. Like all filmmakers, he's trying to recreate and share experiences like those he felt in his formative years. He tries hard.
