ON (sympathy) STRIKE!

As you probably know the WGA goes on strike tomorrow. While, I'm not a WGA member, I wouldn't exactly hate being part of the gang. So, I figure the best way to curry favor with the guild is to strike right along with them. So, starting Monday no more writing until we get this whole thing resolved.

That means I will not:
&bull Write Scripts
&bull Write Television Shows
&bull Write web content
&bull Write email
&bull Write MySpace bulletins
&bull Write notes, directions and phone numbers
&bull Write rap songs
&bull Write grocery lists
&bull Respond to IMs using the written word
&bull Write anything
&bull Try to minimally use keyboards, pencils and pens.
&bull Boycott typewriters
&bull Write cheques
&bull Sign my name when using a Credit Card

I think this showing of solidarity will show the guild that I have what it takes! I am concerned about writers getting their due, and their proper residuals. They can't take advantage of us any longer!
